Kartboy Short Shifter and Bushings Combo 1998-2001 Impreza 2.5RS
The Kartboy Short Shifter and Bushing Combo will restore the shifter feeling in your car due to mileage, or age. After a while the factory shifter bushings are known to become weak, creating excess shifter slop in both, side to side movement, and forward and backward movement.
 The Kartboy bushings are made out of durable polyurethane that will surely tighten things up a bit. The short throw shifter itself will decrease the shifter throw by as much as 40%.Â
This Kartboy Short Shifter replaces the stock shift lever in 1997-2001 model years Subaru Impreza. and 1997-1999 Legacy. Overall shift throw is decreased by 40%, providing a noticeable difference and a solid feel. The Shift knob height will also drop 1" as well. Constructed of CNC'd and TIG welded 4130 Cr-Mo steel. It will install with simple mechanic's tools in under 30 minutes.
Note: This shifter is also utilized for 2002-2007 WRX has the pre-installed factory short throw shifter.
