IAG Performance and Fortune Auto have joined forces to bring you the IAG Spec Street Series Coilovers by Fortune Auto, designed for 2015–2021 Subaru WRX and STI models. These single-adjustable coilovers are engineered to deliver an ideal balance between daily comfort and weekend performance, improving handling and control without compromising ride quality. This complete front and rear kit offers proven performance and value for street-driven cars that see occasional track use.
Rather than offering an off-the-shelf solution, IAG Performance worked closely with Fortune Auto to refine the Fortune Auto 500 platform specifically for Subaru applications. Through extensive research, development, and real-world track testing, key areas such as suspension travel, damping behavior, and overall balance were improved. The result is a coilover system that feels compliant and predictable on the street while remaining capable and confidence-inspiring when driven hard.
The IAG-spec tuning focuses on maximizing usable suspension travel and improving everyday drivability. Increased front shock stroke and longer springs help reduce bottoming out while improving weight transfer under braking and acceleration. A 1-inch extended top hat allows the dampers to operate within their optimal range, even on lowered vehicles, while maintaining proper preload and reducing stress on internal components. With 24 clicks of rebound and compression adjustment, the suspension can be easily tuned from comfortable daily driving to more aggressive, track-focused settings.
Lightweight T6061 aluminum camber plates and spring perches reduce unsprung weight without sacrificing strength, while chrome-silicone springs provide durability and consistent performance. Fortune Auto’s Flow Digressive piston technology delivers firm low-speed control for chassis stability and automatically softens over sharp impacts, offering excellent grip, control, and ride quality across a wide range of road conditions.
