The IAG Performance EJ Competition Series Oil Pan for Subaru WRX, STI, Legacy GT, and Forester XT is purpose-built for high-performance street and track applications. Precision CNC-machined from heavy-duty cast aluminum, this oil pan is engineered to work with a wide range of popular headers while increasing oil capacity by up to 30 percent over the OEM pan.
External cooling fins help dissipate heat as air passes over the pan, aiding in temperature control during aggressive driving. The drain plug is positioned at the lowest point of the pan to ensure complete oil evacuation during service and easy access during oil changes. A 1/8-inch NPT port is integrated into the design to accommodate common oil temperature sensors, and a matching plug is included if the port is not used.
Attention to detail is evident throughout the design. The upper flange mounting surface is CNC-machined for improved hardware fitment and sealing accuracy. A molded O-ring is included, eliminating the need for silicone sealant during installation. The drain plug utilizes a standard OEM-style crush washer, simplifying maintenance. The pan also includes OEM-style Viton dipstick O-rings and a machined chamfer to aid installation and reduce the chance of leaks.
The integrated IAG Competition Series Oil Baffle is designed to reduce blow-by and protect against oil starvation during high RPM and high G-force driving. While recommended for track-focused vehicles, it is also suitable for street use. The baffle incorporates Viton one-way flapper valves that keep oil concentrated near the pickup. When paired with the optional IAG windage tray, oil is prevented from re-entering the upper crankcase and is directed back into the oil pan, ensuring a consistent oil supply. The baffle is designed to work seamlessly with the IAG V2 oil pickup as well as other popular aftermarket pickups.
